Effect
1: major wildfires
Effect
2: severe changes to the earth’s climate
Effect
3: the ice surrounding the North Pole and the South
Pole has begun to melt
Global warming has already affected our planet in many serious ways.
It is actually making the world’s weather conditions much worse. For one thing,
unusually hot weather has caused major wildfires in the United states, Indonesia,
and Australia.
For another, as the planet warms up, the ice surrounding the North Pole and the
South Pole has begun to melt, causing the planet’s sea level to rise. If this
continues, some big cities like London, New York, and Taipei
might be underwater by the end of this century. In addition, global warming may
also be responsible for causing many severe changes to the planet’s climate and
for killing so many people at a time. Scientists think of all the recent huge
floods and droughts as evidence of this severe climate change. Thus, it is
essential that we take immediate action to deal with global warming before it
is too late to save the earth.
