II    Being interviewed is an event everyone faces at some time in life. It may be an interview for a college or a job. Being wellprepared is sure to increase your chances of having a successful outcome of the interview. The first step is to do the research and make sure you understand what the interview is all about. Collect as much information as possible so that you get an idea about the questions that may be asked. Remember that a boss is not very likely to hire a person who knows nothing about the company. Be sure to dress properly for the interview. It would be better to dress a little more formally than the opposite. After all, an interview is an important occasion. If you dress too casually, it may suggest that you don’t care enough about the interview. During the interview, you should be confident, sincere and honest. Don’t talk too much or too little. If you don’t know the answer, be honest about it. Just make a brief apology and promise to the interviewers that you will try to find the answer.
Making a good impression is important. Being wellprepared will increase your chances of success. Even if you do not succeed at the first time, the experience itself is a valuable lesson.
