字首 in 有 五種意義:

( 百分九十以上是前兩種 )

1. not, without : 否定

significant: 重要的, 有意義的

insignificant: 不重要的, 無意義的

convenient: 方便的, 便利的

inconvenient: 不方便的, 不便利的

considerate: 體貼的

inconsiderate: 不體貼的

2. inside, into : 裡面, 進入

come: 來

income: 收入(/錢進入口袋裡面)

(但 outcome: 結果)

side: 旁邊, 側邊

inside: 裡面

outside: 外面

3. on : 在表面上

inceptive: 開始的, 起初的

字首 in : on

字根 cep(t) : take (拿,取,接受)

字尾 ive : 形容詞字尾

induce: (v.): 引誘, 說服, 招致

5. 加強語氣: intensifier, fully : 非常非常
